Kimberly Schroeder, REALTOR®, of eXp Realty, Brokerage ("Kimberly," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors to callkim.ca (the "Site") and of our clients and contacts. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used, in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us, including through the contact form, the property valuation form, account registration, and saved search features on this Site. This may include:

Separately from the third-party analytics tools described under “Cookies and analytics” below, this Site keeps its own record of how it is used. When you browse the Site, whether or not you have an account, we record activity such as the pages you open, the property listings you view, the searches you run and the filters you apply (for example price range, area, bedrooms, and property type), the listings you save, and the date and time of each visit. This record is stored in our own database and is linked to a randomly generated identifier held in your browser, not to your name.
If you later register for the client portal, log in, or otherwise identify yourself to us, that browsing record, including activity from before you registered on the same browser, is associated with your contact record so we can understand what you are looking for and respond usefully. From that point onward, the activity described above is personal information about you and is treated under this policy.
We use this information to personalize the listings and alerts we send you, to understand your budget and preferred areas, to decide when and how to follow up with you, and to improve the Site. We do not use it to make any decision that produces a legal or similarly significant effect about you without human involvement, and we do not sell it.
If you would prefer that we stop recording your activity or that we delete the activity record we hold, contact us at info@callkim.ca and we will action your request. You can also browse without registering, clear your browser’s cookies and site data at any time to reset the identifier, or close your portal account.

By submitting a form on this Site, you consent to being contacted by Kimberly Schroeder and/or eXp Realty, Brokerage regarding your inquiry and related real estate opportunities, subject to applicable law. Where we send commercial electronic messages (such as marketing emails or text messages), we do so in accordance with CASL, and every such message includes a way to withdraw your consent (unsubscribe). You may withdraw your consent to further contact at any time by contacting us directly at info@callkim.ca or (705) 809-5859.
We keep a record of the consent you give. CASL requires us to be able to show that you agreed, so when you tick a consent box on this Site we store the date and time, the email address you gave, which form you used, the exact wording of the consent you were shown, and the IP address the submission came from. We keep that record for as long as you remain a contact of ours, and for three years after you withdraw your consent or ask us to delete your information. We use it for one purpose only, demonstrating that consent was given, if we are ever asked. It is not used to profile you, is not combined with your browsing record for marketing, and is not shared with any third party. If you withdraw your consent we keep the record of the withdrawal alongside it, for the same reason.
This Site uses cookies and similar technologies for measurement and marketing: Google Analytics 4 (to understand how visitors use the Site, pages visited, approximate location, device type), the Meta (Facebook) Pixel (to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and show relevant ads on Meta platforms), and the Follow Up Boss Pixel (the tracking code of our customer relationship management provider, which records the pages and property listings you view here). These tools may set cookies in your browser and collect device identifiers and usage information.
Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel are not used to collect your name, email address, or other directly identifying information. The Follow Up Boss Pixel is different, and we would rather be plain about it: if you submit a form on this Site, it links the email address you gave us to the pages and listings you view, so that we can respond to you knowingly rather than blindly. That activity is held in our CRM, is treated as personal information under this policy on the same terms as the record described under “Website activity we record” above, and is not sold or used to advertise to you on third-party platforms. It is not present on the client portal, on password or account screens, or on the individual seller and comparative market reports we prepare for clients.
You can control cookies at any time: block or delete them in your browser settings; install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on; or adjust your advertising preferences in your Meta ad settings. The Site remains fully usable with these cookies disabled. If you would prefer that we stop recording your activity altogether, or delete the record we already hold, email info@callkim.ca and we will action it.
Your personal information may be shared with eXp Realty, Brokerage, and with service providers who assist in operating this Site or our business (such as website hosting and database, CRM, scheduling, and email platforms), strictly for the purposes described above. These service providers are required to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify. Some of these providers store or process information on servers located outside Canada (including in the United States); while in another jurisdiction, information is subject to the laws of that jurisdiction. Property listing information displayed on this Site is provided under licence through IDX and VOW datafeeds from PropTx Innovations Inc. (Toronto Regional Real Estate Board MLS® System) and is not personal information collected from you. See our Property Search Disclaimer for details.
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy or as required by law or our regulatory obligations as a real estate registrant. We take reasonable administrative and technical steps to protect your personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access.
You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to request correction of inaccurate information, and to withdraw your consent to our collection, use, or disclosure of your information, subject to legal and contractual restrictions. This Site is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
